MORNING Skin Care Steps –  Cleanse . Tone . Serum. Moisturiser/Sunscreen . Eye Cream

EVENING Skin Care Steps –  Cleanse . Make up Remover . Tone . Exfoliate (2-3x weekly) . Target Treatment . Eye Cream

CLEANSE

Start the day by cleansing your face.  In the evening cleanse again. Even if you don’t wear make up, dirt, oil and dead skin cells build up. To remove make up use our gentle Melon Make Up Remover which is perfect for the eye area.

The gentle Coconut Cleanser is a favourite to use in the morning, and Honey Bee 3in1 to cleanse in the evening as the bamboo gently exfoliates the days debris away.

TONE

A good toner will remove any oil, dirt and debris left behind after cleansing. More importantly, toning the skin will help soothe, nourish and hydrate the skin while restoring its delicate pH balance. Toning is particularly important for Oily-Combination skin types as there is more oil to balance.

For Dry, Sensitive and Mature Skin types we recommend using a face mist to help to keep your skin hydrated. Mists lock in moisture, in preparation for a serum or day cream. The moisturising qualities help improve dry, flaky skin. You can also mist after applying your makeup to keep your face looking dewy throughout the day. Read more about Toners here.

MOISTURISE

Depending on your skin’s needs, the right moisturiser can help to rehydrate dry skin, control oiliness or soothe sensitivity, while creating a smooth base for makeup and helping to protect the complexion from visible signs of ageing, and the environment.

Serums have an advantage over creams as they contain no water or emulsifier like a cream formulation needs. You get 100% pure oils packed full with vitamins, fatty acids, and antioxidants ready to melt into your skin. Applying with a few drops of water helps your serum to absorb much faster.

EXFOLIATE

When old skin cells start to pile up on the surface of the skin, it can leave skin looking dull, rough, and dry. Furthermore, the build-up of dead skin cells can result in excess oil and clogged pores, leading to blemishes. A regular exfoliating routine will leave your skin looking fresh, young and healthy. Read our blog post on choosing the right face mask for your skin type here.

TARGET

After cleansing, toning and removing the days makeup, applying a target/treatment product for your skin is a great way to address your skin concerns.  While you sleep using a treatment can aid the body in its natural function of cell turnover, or add extra hydration if needed. The is key to great skin is when our skin’s stem cells, make fresh new cells while replacing aged cells, so that the skin’s layers are renewed, and kept hydrated.
